1934 Chicago Tribune Cartoon

I received this e-mail today with this 1934 Chicago Tribune Cartoon and I thought it was pretty interesting. Check it out:

1934 Chicago Tribune cartoon
This is so close to the truth...it's frightening...
and this is not a new cartoon..
It's from 1934...people wise up!

Isn't this something
A cartoon from the 1934 Chicago Tribune.

If you forget your history,
then you're condemned to repeat it.

That sounds familiar also.
Right after WW1 and before WW II;

they were right on the money.
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure,
the creed of ignorance,

and the gospel of envy,
its inherent virtue
is the equal sharing of misery."

Winston Churchill

Could anyone come up with a more fitting description
of what is going on now than this cartoon from the
1934 Chicago Tribune?

Those who cannot remember the
past are condemned to repeat it..

What else is there to say but goodnight and goodnight to you Mrs. Amore, where ever you are.
