Sunday Prayer

By no means am I here to say one religion is better than the other. However, I am Catholic and for my religion (and anyone who so chooses to read) I am going to begin posting a Sunday prayer every week.
 Everyone is welcome to read, comment, or e-mail me with their thoughts and suggestions. As always, comments will not be made visible unless I feel they would make a great group conversational piece. So, with no further ado...Sunday Prayer:

Evening Prayer - by Saint Augustine

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake,

or watch, or weep tonight,

and give Your Angels and Saints charge over those who

sleep.

Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.

Rest Your weary ones,

Bless Your dying ones,

Soothe Your suffering ones,

pity Your afflicted ones,

Shield Your joyous ones,

And all for Your love's sake.


Amen.
