Time Is On Your Side

If I may, I would like to share an interesting experience that happened to me tonight while I attended Second City Chicago for some laughs.  Now, if any of you have ever been to Second City in Chicago you know that it is an amazing comedic experience that draws a lot of people to watch the live show.  Tonight seemed no different, crowded with a lot of people but I had an interesting experience.  As I was standing outside of the building a young boy, probably 8-10 years of age, came up to me and said, " Mr., Mr."  I looked down and said, "Hey fella, are you lost?"  The boy replied, "No sir, my father asked me to give this to you."  The boy then hands me a watch.  I say, "This isn't mine young fella, how come you are giving it to me?"  The boy says, "My father understands and wants to let you know that time is on your side."  Definitely puzzled now, I look away from the boy and ask, "Where is your father?"  I recieve no response.  As I look back to ask the boy again where his father is, the boy is gone.

At first I do not think much of what just happened.  Yea, I found it a little weird that the kid disappeared right in front of me but I figured it was because there was a lot of people.  However, the more I think about this situation, it's definitely a little weird.  Maybe I'm just relating what the boy said to the current situations of my life, but still kind of crazy.  Part of me is wondering what will happen if I wear this watch, and the other part of me is saying, "Your a moron.  Stop over thinking this situation!"  I guess like the boy said, only time will tell what happens with this watch and I.
